LOCOM INFORMATION COMPANY LIMITED ("LOCOM", "we") is committed to protecting personal data under Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection (effective 01/07/2023) and related law. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your information when you use: IoT/M2M SIM, eSIM, data packages, 4G/5G CPE devices, portable WiFi and cross-border SMS.
Basic personal data: name, phone number, email, shipping address, organization name/tax code; and identity documents (CCCD/ID/Passport) with biometrics required for SIM/subscriber registration under Decree 49/2017/ND-CP and Circular 04/2023/TT-BTTTT.
Sensitive personal data: payment information (Zalo Pay account, bank account, transaction history); location data of IoT SIM devices for routing and fraud prevention; message content for cross-border SMS; and usage data (device IMEI, data traffic, access time, IP address).
We share data only with: (i) partner carriers providing SIM/data infrastructure; (ii) payment providers (Zalo Pay/ZION JSC, banks) to process transactions; (iii) shipping partners for physical devices; and (iv) competent state agencies per law.
For cross-border technical support, some data may be transferred to our China affiliate (Lac Trieu Electronics, Shenzhen). We apply Decree 13/2023 safeguards (processing contracts, encryption, access control) and transfer only as necessary.
Data is stored on servers in Vietnam with TLS encryption and role-based access control. We follow PCI-DSS for payment data and do not store card numbers/card tokens on LOCOM systems.
